Shredder Day Event

Shred Day will be back Wednesday, August 23 from 2:30-5:30.

We are excited to offer this free event to our members and community.  By shredding your documents with personal information on them instead of just recycling them or throwing them away, you are protecting yourself from identity theft.

What should I bring to shred? Anything with any personal identification information, including:

  • Account records
  • Credit union statements
  • Credit card statements
  • Banking information
  • Blank checks
  • Copies of checks
  • Credit card receipts
  • Credit information
  • Deposit slips
  • Financial records
  • Insurance information
  • Legal documents
  • Medical records
  • Outdated records
  • Passwords/PIN numbers
  • Prescriptions
  • Tax records

 

We ask that you please follow these guidelines:

Paper will only be accepted for shredding if you follow the guidelines below.

  • Staples and paperclips do not need to be removed
  • Remove large binder clips
  • Remove three-ring binders
  • Limit number of boxes to no more than four
  • No businesses, please
